Seasonal Menu

A big part of following a Hundred Mile Diet and buying local means planning your menu so that you usually use in-season local ingredients, or ones that you have have preserved.

Seasonal variations in menu revolve mostly around produce because meat, grains, and dairy products have the same availability all year around.

It's very easy to do follow a seasonal diet if you get a weekly local organic grocery food box and recipes from a home delivery service -- they also publish seasonal menus and recipes as part of the service.
