Near Cap Chat, North America's first marine radio station, built by Marconi in 1904. After a 4-km drive over steeply sloped, rutted, potholed, slippery dirt road, we were greeted by a sign demanding $2 each, and then by a cheery woman demanding $8 each more before we could see anything. We took a picture and left.
