Notes for Christian Poirier
Christian Poirier is a versatile entrepreneur and well-respected professional in the Kent region, known as much for his technical expertise as for his ambitious business initiatives.
After graduating from MFR school in 2005, he continued his education at CCNB in Bathurst, studying industrial maintenance technology, a programme that allowed him to develop solid skills in several mechanical and technical fields. Over the years, while working for various companies, he continually enriched his professional background. In particular, he obtained a Red Seal in industrial mechanics, a certification in high-pressure welding, and a Red Seal in boilermaking. These qualifications demonstrate not only his mastery of specialised trades, but also his constant commitment to perfecting his knowledge and responding to the varied needs of the market.
In 2010, Christian took his first steps into real estate investment, a passion he initially developed alongside his job. This entry into the field marked the beginning of an entrepreneurial journey that would continue to grow. Over the years, he expanded his activities to include snow removal and brush clearing services, using heavy machinery that he operated with the same rigour as in his industrial practice. A decisive step came in 2019 when he acquired a small engine repair business in Saint-Louis-de-Kent. Under his leadership, the company quickly experienced sustained growth and diversified its services, notably by adding the sale of lawnmowers, seasonal equipment maintenance and boat repairs.
His journey continued with a strategic move to Rexton, where he also added CarQuest auto parts sales, further expanding his company's mechanical and commercial offerings. More recently, he acquired a building in Shediac to open a second location, once again demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit and long-term vision for growth.
Actively involved in his community, Christian has been coaching minor hockey and baseball teams since 2021, putting his leadership skills and desire to encourage young people in their development to good use. He also serves as vice-president of Richibucto Minor Hockey, a role in which he contributes to the organisation, planning and improvement of local sports activities.
On a personal level, he is married to Isabelle Poirier and is the father of twins, Malex and Alexane, who are a source of inspiration and the heart of his professional and family successes.
