Met at 2019-10-15, 6:00pm, Killam Library G40H Present: Barend, Dan (notes), Mike, Anita Scott’s Celebration of Life * Sunday, October 27 1-5 * ANITA & RICHARD are in charge of the program and food (or delegating) * DAN will tell the “Scott MacNeil Chosen Family” * RICHARD will invite JJ and ask if he has any particular plans he’d like to do * ANITA will put some pictures on a stick * DAN will bring Scott’s books. Books will be given away, suggested donation $5. * It’s a drop in, Drop in any time between 2 and 5. * DAN invite Clove and ask her who else helped with the food. Speaker’s Bureau * DAN is talking to the Halifax & Cape Breton Youth Project and plans are slowly going ahead * ANITA will talk to Eric Smith about getting involved * ANITA will contact her contact at Halifax West and we if he’d like to get involved Elders Housing: non participation * DAN & BAREND will put an item and a survey in the November newsletter about why people aren’t interested Program: * November: book readings * December: Review New Years resolutions; Sing Along; White Elephant Gift Exchange * January: Telling romantic stories * February: Are you prepared for the end of your independence?
