Scott’s Celebration of Life

• Sunday, October 27 1-5
• ANITA & RICHARD are in charge of the program and food (or delegating)
• DAN will tell the “Scott MacNeil Chosen Family”
• RICHARD will invite JJ and ask if he has any particular plans he’d like to do
• ANITA will put some pictures on a stick
• DAN will bring Scott’s books. Books will be given away, suggested donation $5.
• It’s a drop in, Drop in any time between 2 and 5.
• DAN invite Clove and ask her who else helped with the food.

Speaker’s Bureau

• DAN is talking to the Halifax & Cape Breton Youth Project and plans are slowly going ahead
• ANITA will talk to Eric Smith about getting involved
• ANITA will contact her contact at Halifax West and we if he’d like to get involved

Elders Housing: non participation

• DAN & BAREND will put an item and a survey in the November newsletter about why people aren’t interested

• February: Are you prepared for the end of your independence?
