L'nu Rice Pudding

Apjelmultimkewe’l! L’nu rice pudding ! My father used to make this and serve it to us as a cereal breakfast. I only grew up with rice as a cereal and not as a side. In fact one time I was at a friends house and they served me pork chops and rice. I proceeded to add milk and sugar to the rice on the plate to the stares of everyone at the table. Everyone else sprinkled pepper and salt on it and I thought that was very weird. Mintu wikk ti !

For the milk: you can use whole milk, blend, or the best: heavy cream.

Ingredients

1 crice
2eggs
1 cmilk
1 craisins
¼ tspcinnamon
¼ tspnutmeg
¼ tspallspice
½ cmaple syrup

Steps

  1. Cook rice as usual.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°C.
  3. Break the eggs into the casserole and beat.
  4. Add the rice, whichever milk you chose, raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, maple syrup
  5. Mix and bake for 45 minutes.
  6. Cool and serve with more milk or cream.
