Ingredients

optional, 2 stalkscelery
4 clovesgarlic
½spanish onion
4green or egyptian onions
1english cucumber
1green pepper
something hot
½ tspcumin
1 tsppepper
½ tspsalt
3 tblbalsamic
3 tblwhite vinegar
a couple tblchicken soup concentrate
4tomatoes
28 oz / 0.75L cancanned tomatoes
sour cream

Steps

  1. Pulse celery, garlic, spanish onion, green or egyptian onions, english cucumber and green pepper in the Cuisinart until coarsely chopped. Having lumps and chunks is good. Dump in big bowl.
  2. Something hot: e.g. ½ a habanero, 1 tbl hot sauce, ½ tsp cayenne, another tsp of black pepper.
  3. Put something hot in the Cuisinart bowl, cumin, pepper and salt, balsamic, white vinegar, chicken soup concentrate, and tomatoes and pulse until coarse, dump in big bowl.
  4. Same with canned tomatoes.
  5. Rinse the tomato can & Cuisinart bowl with maybe 2 cups total of water, add to the big bowl.
  6. Mix & chill for an hour or so.
  7. Serve with a dollop of sour cream.
