Molly Yeh's Chicken Noodle Hotdish

So I was watching Girl Meets Farm cooking show with Molly Yeh on the Food Network channel this morning and I had to write down the ingredients she used in what she called Chicken Noodle Hot Dish. She explained that it was like creamy chicken noodle soup except like a tuna noodle casserole with chicken. I am going to try and make just the soup part. The ingredients were 2 carrots, 2 medium leeks, 2 celery stalks, 2 sprigs of thyme, 2 cloves of garlic, 4 tbsp of butter, ¼ c flour, salt and pepper, ½ tsp of fresh grated nutmeg, ½ c dry white wine, 3 c of chicken broth, 1 c of heavy cream, ½ c of frozen peas, ¼ c of fresh Italian parsley, 2 tbsp of fresh dill, 1 tsp of lemon zest, 1 tbsp of lemon juice, 8 oz cooked egg noodles and 1 rotisserie chicken. She basically started with the soup part and then made it into a casserole with crackers and stuck it in the oven. I thought the nutmeg and lemon zest and dill were all very interesting ingredients for a soup. Maybe it will give that missing flavor that I’ve been looking for. You can search the episode on the food network app and it aired today 8/13. If you make it before me let me know how you liked it.
