So-Yum Bagels

The yogurt: 0% plain Greek yogurt. No substitutes.

Ingredients

750mL0% plain Greek yogurt
2 tbl + 1 tspbaking powder
2½ cupsAP flour
1egg
sesame seeds
"everything" seasoning

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F
  2. Mix 0% plain Greek yogurt, baking powder, AP flour well to a dough.

  4. Roll the dough into a long log a little smaller then the thickness of a rolling pin.
  5. Cut the log lengthwise into 9 even sized smaller logs
  6. Connect the two ends of each smaller log together to form a bagel shape.
  7. Optional, Recommended: Beat a whole egg, wash top of bagels with it, sprinkle with sesame seeds or "everything" seasoning
  8. Place bagels on parchment on baking sheets.
  9. Bake for 20 min, then
  10. flip the oven to broil for a few minutes to brown the top.
