Gary Blades writes: Here is a picture of the house. It is just up the hill from Tom Kenneys shop. They had a large garden in back and grew a lot of their own food. They had a root cellar. They kept chickens. They were partially self-sufficient in those days. Art's sister Gertrude sold the house when my grandparents passed away. It was demolished and the a shopping center was built on the land. It kills me everytime I drive by there. If I win the big one I will buy that shopping center and demolish it and replace it with a replica of that old house. I'm nostalgic...
