House Temperature / Furnace Data

The original project is part of a home heating study, first to precisely correlate outside temperature, outside windspeed, and inside temperature to how much the furnace is on and then .

The thing I'm using for data collection is the Vernier Lab Pro; I currently have these sensors:

• Voltage probe (-10 to +10 ac/dc (i like that part :-)) I have two of these, one for the anemometer and possibly one to measure the amount of sun
• Indestructable temperature probe
• Delicate but quick temperature sensor ... this sucker is so responsive you can put it in a tube that you're breathing through and measure respiration rate by the temperature changes
• Digital control unit can control six things
• "Homemade" photogate kit something like this
• The data is recorded (and graphed) by the Vernier Logger Pro software.
