===2007-01-29=== My first NSTN experience was when I called to sign up as Customer #2253. [[Steven Heath|A smartass with some kind of Down Under accent]] answered the phone and proceeded to answer every question with a uniformly glib, sarcastic and unhelpful response. When [[Steven_Heath|Heath]] got to the part where he wanted to tell me about how I'd need "his" software for $59., it was with pleasure that I said "No thanks, I don't need the software." This threw his Heathness into a headspin. He started talking faster and louder, pretty much demanding for me to explain what made me think I knew what I was doing. I politely said I knew what I was doing and would write my own connection routine, which flipped him out completely. Of course in time I got to know Heath as a co-worker and found out he was exactly like that pretty much all the time. Therein lies his charm; he was great fun to say "no" to now and then just to watch the show...you could almost hear the little blood vessels popping in his head. ---- Heath Replies: Whats funny is I recall this conversation as well (after Winnie said he had called about a year before). Of course an ignorant buffon called wanting to get the world and pay next to nothing and could not understand why we would not bow to his outlandish demands and pay homage to his uber business skills. PS Macs are still poo! :-)
