Purpose

Cottage domestic hot water and electricity. Installed the system because many years of dragging batteries home to charge and back again was getting tiring.

Description

Cottage offgrid. 2 60 watt photovoltaic panels. 1750 watt inverter and 2 batteries. 110 power from the inverter to power lights, TV, power tools, etc. 30 feet of 4 inch plastic pipe which holds 16 gallons of water and when the sun is out the water heats up for the shower. There is a 350 gallon tank outside that collects water from the rain or from the lake with a pump.
