In Spring 2002 WVDA`s Bill Crossman contacted Novasol. They were looking for a solar and small wind system, which could be easily installed and taken down. They planned to loan that system to interested individuals and groups for demonstrations and testing. It soon became clear that only a mobile system could fulfill all requirements and the idea of a power trailer was born.
12 Volt System consists of : 6 Solar modules Siemens SP-75 watt; 1 Windgenerator Air 403, 400 watt 1 Charge controller Trace C-40 1 DC safety disconnect and wiring box with 250 amp breaker 1 Stop switch and breakers 50 amp. for Windgenerator 1 Inverter Trace DR- 2412 modified square wave 2400 watt (surge 6200 watt) 1 Trace battery capacity meter TM-500 8 Batteries Deka PH-370, 6 volt 370 ah (store 14.2 kwh usable power)
