Description

Trace DR3624 Inverter, 2 "SolarJack" 52 watt panels, 1 "Air 403" Wind Generator, 1 Kawasaki GE5000 gasoline backup generator, 8 220Ah 6 volt batteries wired for 440Ah.

Propane for cooking, fridge and hot water. 12 hour wood burner for heating, "Nestor Martin" oil stove for overnight heating, and a 5000 watt generator for backup/charging.

There is water year-round with the use of PEX piping and an easy-heat tracer line in the main water pipe (there would be water about 2 hours after arriving in the winter to thaw out the pipes)

What would we do different?

Would have bought the DR3624 instead of the DR1512; it needed an upgrade to run the pump anyways. Would have also installed the L16 type batteries instead of the 8D which we're recently replaced.
