6. Appropriateness of the necessary recources (dates, finance, the host institution, human and material resources) for the effective implementation project goals and objectives

Project’s host institution is Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU). TSU is one of the largest higher educational institution in the region founded 1918. Currently, seven faculties of TSU offering to students bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degree programs. TSU has a cooperation with many foreign universities and offers to it's students to participate in exchange and joint international educational programs. Professors and researchers involved in TSU are experts well integrated with western research community and have gained the recognition worldwide.

Ilia Vekua Institute of Applied Mathematics is a research institute of TSU founded in 1968, where is planned the project implementation. The Institute’s aim from it's foundation is to carry out research on important problems of applied mathematics, to involve University professors, teachers, and students in research activities in order to integrate mathematics into the study processes and research, and to implement mathematical methodologies and calculating technology in the non-mathematical fields of the University. Foundations of mathematics, mathematical logic and discrete mathematics form one of the main working directions of the institute (http://www.viam.science.tsu.ge/geo/history). Nowadays the institute maintains its scientific potential and international reputation. This is also illustrated by the number and quality of either international projects or international conferences and symposia held there under the auspices of international organizations. Institute has international scientific cooperation with different universities and scientific research centers of different countries. The Institute is equipped with all the computing, networking, and library facilities that are necessary to carry out research in this area. Therefore, implementation of the project does not require any additional material and technical base: The infrastructure provided by the institute is sufficient for it.

The background and experience of the project team is very well suited to project topics. In the context of women participation in technical sciences we note that the young scientist is a female member of the team who already showed her records and published number of papers in high scientific journals in the area of mathematical logic. The consultant and the mentor of the team are well established scientist and well known experts in mathematical logic. Therefore, the role of mentor and consultant will be very important for successful implementation of the project.
