They are creating a map of queer spaces across Canada for young people - junior and senior high school I think. Topic: Places, spaces, that were important to the Q community in the 1960s and 1970s. I anticipate inviting about 15 people. We will make it clear that we have limited room and will be creating a specificically diverse room. Elderberries is hosting a "high tea" -- a substantial mid afternoon meal -- with a discussion about which spaces and places should get included in a short list. The event is from 2:00 to 4:00 (and maybe a little later) on November 27th. We're tempting you with gourmet food, and there'll be some social time too. Your chef will be Elderberries member Nathan Elling, former owner of Mana Cuisine in Los Angeles. Nathan worked for 10 years in LA catering large events and private parties. We'll have limited space at the table.
