Present: Province: Miranda & Maps; Elderberries: Lynn, Renée, Barend, Dan (late) (notes) Adjustments: * The project is not about hate; it is a totally different project from the "Hate" survey * The project is about barriers that elder Q folk face in accessing Provincial Government services * ===Dan will present=== # What I think the project is about # What I think they want # How I’d like to carry it out ("Methodology" in [[2024_Provincial_ActionPlan|the main project document]]) # Questions for Miranda, below ===Methodology=== # Honing the question to be asked - Elderberries board + Miranda # First, a Google Forms survey, distributed by email and socials, to frame up the questions and possible scope of answers, # One Zoom and one or two facilitated in-person events, with catering - a lunch event and a supper one, probably, with recording, # Followup interviews for some people, # The deliverable: a report with concepts extracted from the survey, in-person events, and interviews, with supporting quotes from people. ===Qs for Miranda=== * What's the timeline? * Anonymized, right? Where subjects get assigned code names and we keep the identities escrowed? * We really need to hone the question, because if you ask any group of elders about their concerns it will be almost all about medical care, cost of drugs, groceries and rent. Maybe we could coordinate this with the indigenous, black, Jewish, Muslim etc communities so we are focussing our questions in the same way. * I would very much like to include a question about what do people think we can do about this - looking to the future, and delivering agency. Does that work for you?
