Dan is not taking them home. ---- ===Final Report=== * an unmitigated success! Primarily, because we got rid of ALL ca. 600 books * People helping out: Erick, Jeff, Kevin, Jean-Claude Theriault, Dan, Dan's Paul, Wesley, John (new guy) (who did I miss?) * Guest Author, selling & signing books: Bruce Bishop (Lynette Richards tested Covid + a couple days ago) * People through: 72 ?? * Sales: $364 + 10 from Bruce Bishop. Radstorm got 30% of that, $112. The remainder = 262. Morning Of * [ ] Tidy up Radstorm ---- ===Announcement 4 (CBC Weekend Mornings)=== Tomorrow, Sunday January 22nd, the Elderberries will host what is as far as we know, is the city’s first used 2SLGBTQ+ Gay & Lesbian Book Sale. We have between five and six HUNDRED books, all part of, or about, queer culture to sell very cheaply - a buck or two for most of them, more for new books. Please, spread the word to your gay and lesbian friends that there will be a lot of books, for not much money! We’ll also have special guest, local author Bruce Bishop, signing his books and of course I’ll be there showing off the magical art and music, literature creation space, Radstorm as well. The book sale starts at 1 o’clock Sunday afternoon and is over at 4:30, at Radstorm, 2177 Gottingen Street. I know that the very next day, SOMEONE will say, YOU MONSTER HOW COULD YOU!! ORGANIZATION X WOULD HAVE LOVED TO HAVE THOSE!! YOU ARE AN EVIL BAD PERSON!! Which I don't want to happen. So it's important that I contact EVERY POSSIBLE ORGANIZATION that might want them, and we need to be seen to be doing that.
