==Programs== July Event is on Pride Week Tuesday the 19th, Spring Garden Road Library, "Making A Case for LGBT History" * Lynn: Get Your Stuff On Paper! * Dan: Halifax Rainbow Encyclopedia * James: How To Do Oral History August * Picnic: Dingle, August 21st, 1:00pm, possibly followed by Eucharist September * Spencer House or TBA, September 25th * Theme: Falling In Love With Pictures, with Nick ===Christmas=== * Nick's building again? * Dan's party is on the 10th ===Pennants=== * They would cost $2.50 / 2.60 each. * Pat Dingle has offered to make pennants * ACTION: Lynn will give Pat the go-ahead * We will sell them at the library, at the beginning of the Parade, at Venus Envy ===Brochure=== * there is not enough material to fill a 8.5 x 11" brochure * we will re-jig to look better on two pages * we will produce a new draft of the brochure with a big tree image to fill available space * Lynn will send larger folklore text block ===Conference=== * We should hold off on this until Nova Scotia Department of Econonomic Renewal re-does its conference series for the next year. ===NSRAP goings-on=== NSRAP is creating a new seniors issues committee with more focus on political / policy issues; Lynn will attend, and find out what the topics might be, and we'll ask for a representative from the membership. ===Fundraising=== What would we want to raise funds for? * speakers gifts * sign language interpreters, say, a few times a year * stipend to Spencer House How could we raise funds? * Membership fees * Dances: ** At The Company House: their cost model puts us at risk of losing money ** Wolf And Jim Dance * Menz Bar Pancake Breakfast * Christmas Dinner: some group has to be the "sponsor" for the event ===Next Meeting===
