Defining Moments Canada (DMC) has a project called Proud to Be: Queer Canadian Histories of the 1960s-1970s. They are creating a map of queer spaces across Canada for young people - junior and senior high school I think.
Topic: Places, spaces, that were important to the Q community in the 1960s and 1970s.

Former owner of Mana Cuisine in Los Angeles. Worked for 10 years in LA and for a number of different kitchens including Grub (Betty Frasier and Ilan Hall - now at Ramen Hood, were both on Top Chef) as chef de partie (various); Bread and Butter Catering (Michael Brooks has been catering for the American Film Institute, the Hollywood Foreign Press and celebrity clients for over 40 years) as chef de partie (various); Bites Catering (Elizabeth Goal has catered private celebrity events for over 20 years) as line cook; Joe Bastianich, as line cook/garde manger for American Idol; Boston Group LA (now Wolfgang Puck) as line cook, grill and garde manger for large events. I am self-taught.
I think it would be really good to have finger food in a buffet style, stuff that people could just load onto and refill salad plates or even small things that they could eat with a fork like quiche.
