Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance - where we think about trans folks who have been murdered, and ones that have taken their life as a result of hatred.

History Work
- Introduce Dan - moved to Halifax in 1981 Kings, came out a couple years later, I love this city
- Got involved in Wayves.

- So in the 1990s, people started giving me information - random chunks
- Then, the wiki - a guy named Mike Godfrey had heard about this web publishing thing. at the time you needed to write HTML a kind of code. Ward Cunningham created Wiki. Mike installed it and wrote hundreds of pages - some serious, some silly.
- 2002 : I created a catalog of drag queens in it - to counter boredom
- 2004: 1000 pages, Dan takes it over
