1. Facts
Elderberries will clearly be the sponsor and producer of this event. We need to make it clear that it is NOT a Halifax Pride event.
We will be giving out the parade route only to those registered.

- Date: 2020-07-18 Rain Or Shine
- Time: NOON.
- Route: Lawn in front of OLD Halifax Library, Spring garden & Brunswick, up Spring Garden Rd, R on South Park, into the Garrison Grounds. The slower moving folks will lead the March (This will keep us together. No stragglers. Slower but effective.)
- Spokesperson: Lynn
- Honorary Marshall: Mike Sangster
- Theme: The original 1987/88/89 Pride March / Protest
- We will have to follow the safe outdoor activity guidelines in place at the time
2. Demands
- LGBT Seniors Housing. Why? For example, Trans folk are not safe; also, LGBT housing is a health issue.
- Cultural competency certification for healthcare workers.
- (to be amended) Timely access to health care for trans folk
- Access to Point of Care HIV Testing

Hello Elderberries Secret Flash March Participant!
Do you have your late '80s signage ready? Your paper bag? Just your marching voice? Your mask? You're good to go!
Here are the particulars for the march today!
When: Saturday, July 18, 2020 NOON Where: Park in front of the OLD Halifax Library site, Spring Garden at Brunswick
The slower moving folks will lead the March.
Washrooms: there are washrooms at the Halifax Library should be available; there should be porta-potties at the event we'll be joining at the end of the march.
