Board Meeting via Zoom

Present: Dan (notes), Pauline, Anita, Allison, Barend, Lynn

Last Sunday:

• Dan: Kevin's advice to ask , how did it happen, how did you heard... also learning that hearing about death won't hurt you.
• Pauline: why talk about the hour that the person passed away, why not talk about the 55 years before ??

We will forward Kevin's offer

DAN will combine the two or three offers and send those out to the membership.

Motion: to pay Dan $60 for three month's worth of Zoom. Alison: moved: Lynn Seconded. Passed.

Financial report:

• our bank balance is $859.82 (minus the $60 we're reimbursing Dan for)

Some time in the future: how we would do a fund raiser online.

• Any donations would help in the interim to pay for the zoom account
• Maybe include this in the next newsletter.

Northwood:

• Lynn: we should start a project to lobby for greater government oversight of Long Term Care facilities. This should be done in a positive way, not an anti-Northwood way.
• Item from Tuma: doing something positive for Northwood.

Also: more frequent Zoom meetings?

• Twice a month?
• Maybe ask the members: Saturday evening at 7:00pm - 9:00pm, or Sunday afternoon at our regular meeting time 2:00pm - 4:00pm?
