Meeting at the Killam Library QFSC Space

Present: Barend (chair), Anita, Pauline, Mike, Dan (notes)

Motion: for Barend to buy a new day planner, passed.

Topic: Not hearing from Treasurer Ann

We need to find someone who will be treasurer if we can't get ahold of Ann.

ANITA will help out if necessary.

Topic: Cape Breton equivalent to Elderberries, organized by Tuma Young.

Unanimous yes, whatever that means.

DAN will write a note back to Tuma reminding him of the offer.

Topic: Rationalizing cups & cutlery. We’ll use up what we have; we’re not going throw away anything.

ANITA will buy 3 plastic bowls and 3 platters.

ANITA & PAULINE will keep track of what supplies we need to buy.

Topic: Hot food: ANITA will personally buy an electric frying pan for the times when Dan’s not there.

Topic Speaker’s Bureau: we need to find one person to be coordinator.

DAN will send out a list of the Speakers and we can have a discussion on line.

In the meantime BAREND will continue to coordinate.

DAN will add

to the possible future SSS topic list.

DAN will send out the link to future SSS events.

Topic January topic:

DAN will send a note to Caroline about talking about her time up north. If that falls through, the topic will be “What’s your favourite movie and why?”

DAN will figure out who offered to organize lgbt movie night and contact them.
