Discussion of "Ground Rules"
45 minute discussion. Conclusion: we are spending a lot of time and adding a lot of rules to address a problem of one or at most three members. We really need to work with just those members.
Suggested Opening: “There will be no side talking - if you need to have a private conversation please go off to the side.”
Discussion of "Observations"
Item: we need a clear and unified statement what the mandate of the group is, what’s the format, who is allowed to come?
- Action: BAREND & ALLISON will review the brochure.
- DAN will reprint.
Item: Mic for speakers
- RICHARD and ANNE will look at the mic / av issue
Item: no clarity about what the collection / donation tin is for;
- ANITA & PAULA will come up with some wording to speak at the beginning of the meeting when we bring the tin out
Item: Greeters
- RICHARD & MIKE will coordinate the greeting
Item: Guest Speaker Handling
- RICHARD & MIKE will also do this

DAN will send out notice about UNDER THE BRIDGE to the membership.
Chairing Meetings
- Confusing use of the word "Chair": e.g Dan is the Chair of the organization, but there is a Chair for each Salon, which has been Anita for the last few meetings.
- Decision: let's use the word "Meeting Chair" or "Facilitator" for the job Anita's been doing.
- Also, let's have a team:
- ANITA & PAULA will take turns as Meeting Chair / Facilitator
Food: Discussion
- We will supply coffee, tea, scones and butter
- DAN & BAREND will adjust the newsletter to fit.
July Event
- DAN will ask Scott to participate.

- We need to hunt for others.
June Event
- DAN will check with McFarland about getting some tables and chairs.
- DAN will ask Kirby, Vance & Cecil if they have tables and chairs.
- DAN will ask Dave LeBlanc if he can move the tables and chairs around.
- DAN will mention the event to Raymond's ex-boss.
- DAN will create a planning document for this.
