From the 'peg I headed south. Here I am at the 49th parallel. Every few
minutes this cute li'l cop and his big dog would run up and down the line of
traffic sniffin' for - who knows what?
The drive was made more interesting by Butch the Chippewa hitchhiker (I had packed a spare helmet.) I stayed at the Ashland Motel, overlooking Lake Superior for ... owww .... 58$US!!! |
