Who's in this photo? When was it taken? Where was it taken? What's the occasion?

To me, this was the Wild Womyn Don't Get the Blues weekend--the one where it took place at Bernadette (MadDonald?) and Alex's house in River John. Thinking, 1987 or 1988. or 1989.

Looks like blonde, front: Sarah Newman. Centre, with back to camera, another Sarah (forget her last name). Debbie is also there(MacInnon?? She used to work at King's College I believe, edited a newspaper/magazine or something?)

We had gone to a private beach not from from their house. We picked some mussels, then steamed them on this beach. Jo and Andrea (Currie) were there too.

Dan - I don't recognise anyone, nor the location but it could very well have been the first Wild Womyn - c. 1984? I've passed it along to both Alex and Bernadette for comment.

A beach trip during The Third Annual Wild Women Don't Get the Blues, 1985. We climbed down a steep cliff behind a church to a private beach on the North Shore just past Toney River, we picked some mussels, then steamed them on this beach. We had body paint and that a light plane found us somewhat interesting and passed by a few times.
